MSA at World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2025
The MSA team participated in the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) in Paris, a pivotal global event for the civil nuclear energy sector. We brought a clear message: nuclear energy is on the rise.
The growing interest was confirmed by an incredible 60% increase in attendance compared to the event two years ago. This dynamic only underscores the global shift towards nuclear power.
WNE focused on three main directions that will determine the future development of the sector:
- SMR (Small Modular Reactors): Emphasis on modular reactors, which represent a symbol of flexibility, scalability, and faster deployment of clean energy.
- Beyond Electricity: Expanding the applications of nuclear energy beyond electricity generation. Nuclear power is becoming a key source for medicine, massive hydrogen production, and water desalination.
- Digitalization and AI: Implementation of advanced technologies for smarter, safer, and more efficient operation of nuclear facilities within the framework of Industry 4.0.
The fair saw a significant presence of the Czech nuclear industry. During discussions with domestic colleagues, we had the honor of meeting with MEP Alexandr Vondra, who clearly expressed firm support for the field: "The nuclear renaissance is the necessary future of our energy sector."
