When an industrial building becomes a training ground for firefighters
For the second time this year, the Fire Rescue Service of Hlučín (Hasičský záchranný sbor České republiky – Hlučín unit) used MSA’s high-rise industrial building for tactical training – and this time, the focus was fully on operations in confined conditions. A space that normally serves production and technical operations was transformed for several days into a realistic environment for practicing interventions in demanding situations.
Passages, tight spots, limited room for movement, and team communication under pressure – these are exactly the conditions firefighters may encounter in real industrial facilities, where there is no room for error and every second counts. This makes the training highly valuable, as it closely reflects real-life emergency response scenarios.
We are pleased that our production and technical facilities can serve not only industry but also the preparation of professionals who protect health and save lives.
We thank the Fire Rescue Service of Hlučín for their professional approach and cooperation.
