On the Road to a Hydrogen Future: 18 Ball Valves for a New 100% Hydrogen Project
Together with our local partner, we are supplying the first of several packages of ball valves for a new pipeline system designed for the transportation of 100% hydrogen. The first package includes 18 ball valves in sizes ranging from 2” to 10”.
The project is part of the construction of a new electrolysis plant that will produce green hydrogen using energy from wind, solar and hydropower. The aim is not only to produce renewable hydrogen, but also to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions.
Hydrogen for Industry and Public Transport
The green hydrogen produced will primarily be supplied to a local refinery, where it will be used in the production of sustainable fuels. Part of the production will also be used as fuel for public transport.
For such a demanding application, the reliability and suitability of individual components for 100% hydrogen service are essential. The ball valves we are supplying will therefore form an important part of the project’s infrastructure.
Further Packages Already Ordered
The delivery of the first package is just the beginning of our cooperation on this project. Thanks to our successful cooperation with our local partner, we have already received orders for two additional valve packages. The next delivery is planned before Christmas.
